Light for the Amazon at Durban Segnini Gallery, Miami
Organized by curator Omar López-Chahoud, this exhibition brought together modern and contemporary Latin American artists in a cross-cultural dialogue spanning abstraction, figuration, and pre-Hispanic visual references.

A portion of the proceeds supported Light for the Amazon’s Guardians of the Amazon education program in Santa María de Ojeal, Peru. The gallery’s project room featured works and limited-edition prints by founder Matteo Callegari, with all print proceeds directly benefiting environmental education in the Amazon.

Light for the Amazon Art Benefit at Tyler Loftis Studio, New York

Light for the Amazon hosted a special art benefit at Tyler Loftis Studio in Tribeca to celebrate the launch of Guardians of the Amazon, a new education initiative in Santa María de Ojeal, Peru. The evening marked the release of two limited-edition prints by founder Matteo Callegari, each hand-embellished with original painted patterns.

All proceeds from the event directly supported Light for the Amazon’s youth education programs in the Peruvian Amazon, advancing nature-based learning rooted in ecology, sustainability, and local knowledge. The benefit brought together artists, supporters, and cultural workers to connect art with direct action in support of rainforest education.
